Durable and waterproof “60/40”
A revolutionary material developed by SIERRA DESIGNS in 1968, “60/40 (Rokuyon cloth)” is used. The fabric is made up of 60% cotton for the weft and 40% nylon for the warp, making it less stiff than 100% cotton and more resistant to friction than 100% nylon. When it absorbs moisture, the cotton threads in the weft expand and close the weave, making it waterproof and windproof.
A polyester liner is applied to the lining to make it windproof and easy to put sleeves through.
Functional Details
The shoulder area has raglan sleeves for easy shoulder fit and mobility. The front section has a snap button and zip closure.
Pockets are vertical for easy access. There is also an inside pocket with Velcro tape.
The cuffs can be adjusted in two positions with buttons to prevent wind from entering through the cuffs.
A versatile item that can be worn ON or OFF
