The brand was born in the Republic of South Africa in the 1990s as a sandal brand. The brand boasts a high level of functionality that can be used not only in water but also in deserts and mountains, and is highly popular for its unique design with traditional ethnic patterns on the webbing tape.
Nylon tape for easy wear for wide feet
The butterfly-shaped upper, one of Chillout’s distinctive features, is made of neoprene material that feels soft against the skin, providing a comfortable foot placement.
The two straps on the instep provide a secure fit that conforms to the foot, making it very easy to walk in spite of the sliding type without a heel strap.
In addition, the tape for the straps is made of sustainable recycled material. We searched for the best balance between strength and comfort, and created a natural look with a cotton-like texture.
SHAKA’s original SOLE
The sole uses an original sole that combines grip and cushioning.
The shark tooth grip, shaped like a shark’s tooth, provides excellent grip. The iconic outsole has a toe bumper, a warped toe and distinctive features.
It is designed with ease of walking in mind, making it easy to carry your feet.
They can also be washed in their entirety, making them easy to care for.
