Original Fabric with a Commitment to Quality
The fabric is made from the brand’s original TC twill fabric. While the golden ratio for TC twill fabric is typically “35% cotton, 65% polyester,” they have adopted a blend of “34% cotton, 66% polyester” to achieve a vintage look.
The fabric has a subtle sheen, smooth texture, and a refined finish, giving it a workwear vibe while remaining stylish. The moderate thickness of the fabric makes it suitable for year-round wear, allowing you to enjoy its aging process over time.
Updated for the 100th Anniversary
As they approach their 100th anniversary in 2024, Universal Overall has launched a new “HERITAGE line.” This model is a reimagined item from the brand’s iconic chino pants series.
The front features a zipper fly, and the inner waistband has houndstooth stitching. The heritage label has been given a modern design.
Both sides feature easy-to-access slash pockets, while the hips have single-welt pockets. The original snap buttons add a subtle accent.
The pants’ brand tag replicates the one from that time. It is sewn on, and it is recommended to wear it as it is.
They have faithfully reproduced the flasher (paper label) that was made in the home country at that time. Each silhouette has its own design, allowing you to fully experience the original atmosphere.

This model features the widest silhouette in the brand’s history. The waist area is kept clean, and the gentle tapering towards the hem creates a voluminous yet sophisticated look, perfect for a mature style.
