WILD THINGS
Founded in 1981 by American climbers John Bouchard and Marie Munier, Wild Things is an outdoor brand that leverages extensive mountaineering experience to produce high-quality products based on the concept of being “light yet tough.” Their functional, cold-weather gear and durable luggage are continually adopted by the U.S. Army and Navy.
Durability and Water Resistance
Uses ripstop Cordura nylon, which is about seven times stronger than regular nylon. The grid-like structure of ripstop prevents any tears from spreading, making it ideal for lightweight outerwear.
It also provides water resistance, so you don’t have to rush to shelter at the first sign of light rain.
Breathable Design for Comfort
The body and sleeves are lined entirely with mesh, reducing the contact area with the skin to prevent stickiness. Mesh is also used in the side pockets and the right inner pocket.
Ventilation under the arms comes with double zippers that can be opened from either side, allowing for temperature adjustments when your body heats up, incorporating outdoor wear details to keep your skin dry in daily life.
Calculated Volume
The shoulders are designed with raglan sleeves to create a smooth line along the shoulders. The wide arms prevent interference with a wide T-shirt worn underneath.
Darts at the back of the neck add a soft and attractive volume to the silhouette.
Balanced Silhouette
Although the arms are voluminous, the length is set short to create a silhouette that is neither too oversized nor too compact. The elastic at the cuffs and hem provides a snug fit, eliminating any bulkiness.
The double zipper on the front allows for fine adjustments based on the inner layers and bottoms worn.
