TOWN CRAFT
Originally launched in 1927 as a JC PENNEY in-house brand, TOWN CRAFT stands alongside names like BIG MAC and PAY-DAY. Drawing inspiration from vintage styles of the ’50s to ’70s, the brand now reinterprets those classics into comfortable, wearable pieces for today.
Made from rayon fabric woven in Mitsuke City, Niigata—an area known for its yarn-dyed textiles. The fine yarns create delicate shading that gives the fabric a natural, cotton-like appearance.

Rayon offers excellent moisture absorption and breathability, making it an ideal fabric for Japan’s hot and humid summers.
It’s also hand-washable, allowing for easy care at home—another practical benefit.
