Raffy yarn is a yarn spun from a mixture of cotton and recycled cotton called “fallen cotton”. KEPANI’s raffy yarn is made of recycled yarn mixed with ultra-long cotton ‘Turfan’ and fallen cotton of ‘Giza America’. The exquisite luster and the grainy texture created by the uneven black yarn create a good taste.
“Supple” even after many washes
The quality of the Turfan yarn used is one of the three finest in the world, along with the Supima cotton from the USA and the Giza cotton from Egypt. The quality of Turfan is one of the world’s three most luxurious cottons. Turfan cotton is also known as “super long cotton” and is used to make high quality garments, as the long fibres of the twisted cotton are supple to the touch and remain supple even after repeated washing.
