JAPAN BLUE JEANS’ new jeans line “CIRCLE” is highly regarded overseas. This is a loose model with room around the hips and a straight drop to the hem.

The pattern has been renewed and a “curved belt” has been adopted for a better fit around the waist. The color was also carefully selected to reproduce the color of “old-fashioned blue,” the color used when synthetic indigo was invented.

A denim brand with a textile manufacturer in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture, which boasts worldwide recognition as a famous denim production area. The brand started in 2011 with the aim of spreading the quality of MADE IN JAPAN DENIM overseas. The brand proposes jeans with a new sense of value, combining a silhouette recognized in Europe and the U.S. with the quality of domestic production.

The garment is worn slightly folded inward to simulate after the re-lengthening.

Aged wash denim with a special attention to detail
Featuring 12.5 oz. selvedge denim with long-fiber African cotton used for both the back and sides. By blending brown cotton with natural shades, we have recreated the “old-fashioned blue” of the early 1900s, when synthetic indigo was invented.

The moderately thick, soft and supple texture also makes them comfortable to wear in all seasons.

Curved belt for natural lines
The waist portion uses a pattern technology that curves in accordance with the lines of the human body. Unlike straight belts, which float at the waist when worn, this belt is characterized by its fit around the waist. It does not float or become loose even when squatting.

Vintage details
The front has “BLUE” engraved donut buttons and a zipper fly. The classic five-pocket design with a fabric feel and punched rivets give it a vintage look.

The leather patches are made of cowhide leather. The more you wash it, the more you can enjoy its texture and change over the years.

The stitching is in yellow and bright blue, the brand’s color. When the hem is rolled up, a glimpse of the selvage, which proves that it was woven on an old-style power loom, can be seen.
