Distinctive Expression
The upper is made of vegetable tanned leather with a stone wash finish. It features a moderate gloss and unevenness, creating a unique and artistic expression with depth. Moreover, you can enjoy the aging changes as you wear them.

Actually a Military Item
The origin of the Gurkha sandals dates back to the 19th century, when the British referred to the soldiers of the mercenary unit they organized in Nepal as Gurkha soldiers. It is derived from the shoes they wore at the time.
As they were mountain people, they needed to firmly hold their entire foot while moving freely on rugged mountain trails. Thus, Gurkha sandals with designs covering not only the instep but also the toes and heels were born.
Balancing Openness and Support
The upper provides modest exposure of the skin, creating a comfortable sense of openness.
You can enjoy various arrangements by wearing them with or without socks.
The instep can be adjusted with belt straps, making it easier to fit even for those with high arches.

The outsole is made of grippy rubber. Its look resembles a leather sole with reduced volume, exuding elegance.
The edges are deliberately roughened and wavy through processing, resulting in a craft-like finish.
This product is handmade from dyeing to finishing. There may be differences between left and right, and some color variations. These are not defects but characteristics of the artisanal production process, so please enjoy the product’s uniqueness and roughness.
