In 2022, a collaboration project between creative director Keiji Kaneko and the cut-and-sew brand LIFiLL, renowned for ultimate comfort. This collaboration merges fashion with undergarment elements.
Addictive Soft Touch
Utilizing extra-long staple Supima cotton from the United States, yarns are spun to create a loose and soft texture, meticulously woven on traditional machines. It boasts a luxurious feel and a supple touch that sets it apart from ordinary 100% cotton fabrics.
The delicate and supple lightweight fabric offers outstanding comfort suitable even as a base layer.
Detail-Oriented Simplicity
The neckline features a slightly snug crew neck design. Rather than ribbed, the collar uses the same fabric as the body, ensuring a comfortable fit that works well when worn alone, resembling underwear yet suitable for standalone wear.
Additionally, the inclusion of stretch tape at the neck minimizes stretching and avoids interference with the neckline seams, enhancing comfort.
When worn as innerwear, the sleeves are deliberately designed slim to avoid bulkiness under shirts or knits. Rolling up the inner sleeves alongside outerwear sleeves is a recommended layering technique by Kaneko.
With just the right amount of room in the body width and a sleek silhouette that falls neatly when worn, it achieves an elegant finish suitable for single-piece wear.
