Japan Blue Jeans
A denim brand from Kojima, Okayama, known worldwide as a major denim-producing region. Established in 2011, the brand was launched to introduce the high quality of MADE IN JAPAN DENIM to overseas markets. Durable and Textured High-Count Twill
The fabric is made from 40-count three-ply yarn, which is finer than typical chino pants yarn. This high-density weave gives the fabric a firm texture, a refined sheen, and high durability. Despite requiring advanced techniques, this fabric offers excellent cost performance. Free from the bulkiness typical of chinos, these pants are suitable for various occasions.
The sides are finished with double stitching, and a post-sewing wash gives the fabric a vintage-style puckering effect. Over time, the fabric takes on even more vintage character with wear.
Details Straight from the 1940s
The belt loops are positioned diagonally on the back, and the back pockets feature welt detailing. The four-hole buttons have a glossy finish, recreating the style of the era. For added functionality, the front button fly has been updated to a zipper.
Inspired by 1940s military chinos, the hips and thighs are generously cut, while the legs taper sharply from the knee down. The shallow rise elongates the legs and creates a streamlined look. The regular-length inseam is set slightly shorter at 9/10 length, but you can choose between the regular length and a long version that’s 5 cm longer.
