Wash and Grow Oxfords
We’ve selected thicker, stiffer oxfords than regular oxfords. We have selected a thicker and stiffer oxford.
We use a high count American cotton yarn with a high single fibre strength.
It feels rough at first, but after many washes, the fit deepens and it is a “grow” oxford.
This fabric is the pride of Japan “Banshuori”
Banshuori is a traditional cotton fabric that has been used for over 200 years in the Nishiwaki area of Hyogo Prefecture.
It is characterized by “yarn dyeing”, in which the yarn is dyed first and then woven.
By meticulously calculating the placement of the dyed yarns, this technique allows a variety of patterns to be expressed in the weave.
The natural texture, rich colours and softness of the fabric are a real gem.
