Waxed Cotton with Rich Texture
The fabric is made from 6-ounce Thornproof waxed cotton, a popular choice in BARBOUR collections. True to its name, “Thorn” signifies its superior strength, with a smooth, understated sheen. The material is also odorless and minimally sticky, making it practical for everyday use.
As the wax coating gradually wears off with use, the fabric ages beautifully, gaining a distinctive patina. Reapplying the specialized repair oil helps extend its longevity.
The inner lining features BARBOUR’s iconic tartan check, a traditional Scottish pattern that adds a sophisticated touch.
Design and Insulation in Perfect Harmony
The collar is made from warm corduroy, and the chin strap ensures the collar can be raised to protect the neck from wind, eliminating the need for a scarf.
The front features a heavy-duty double zipper with snap buttons, while the cuffs are designed with an inner ribbing structure to balance both style and functionality.
Hand-warmer pockets are located on either side for added warmth, with additional zippered pockets inside the front for secure storage. These practical features make this jacket versatile for both casual and outdoor activities.
