Vintage baker shorts
The baker shorts are a modification of ROCOCO’s completely custom-made RJB1400 baker tapered pants.
While adopting vintage details, the shorts have a modern feel without being too rugged. With a moderate amount of room and a clean above-the-knee length, the design has no unnecessary details, allowing you to simply enjoy the silhouette.
An atmosphere as if worn for years
The fabric used is “back satin,” which was adopted in the mid-1950s as the main combat uniform fabric for the U.S. military.
The vintage look of the cotton back satin fabric is achieved by a sulfide-dyeing process that produces a realistic faded color and a tasteful bite.
The color does not fade as much as indigo dye, and the more you use it, the more the color will fade moderately, allowing you to grow your own color just like denim.
Precise details
The double stitching and flap pockets on the back, as seen on baker pants from the 1960s, give the pants a military feel of the time. Made in Japan, this is a pair that you will want to wear carefully.
Silhouette that also looks good in a clean style
While having a good amount of room at the hips and across the body, it is slightly narrowed toward the knees to create a silhouette that does not give the feeling of being overdressed.
The exquisite size, which has a relaxed but not firmer feel, makes it easy to match with a wide range of size tops, from slim silhouettes to wide silhouettes.
