Hand made, handed down
SOLOVAIR started in 1959 with the development of the first air cushioned sole in England.
The origin of the brand name is also SOLOVAIR, from SOLE-OF-AIR.
The brand was licensed to the famous Dr. Martens in Japan and continued to be sold as Dr. Martens by Solovair for 35 years.

The upper is made of glossy and bouncy high shine (mirror finish) leather with a strikingly elegant sheen.
The high shine finish protects against the slightest rainwater and dirt.
The leather is stiff at first, but will gradually adapt and become your own personal comfort.

Goodyear Welt Method is often used for luxury shoes. Traditional Goodyear welt method. The soles can be replaced many times. The Goodyear welt method is the most common method of making shoes.

Functional air-cushioned sole
The sole is made of the brand’s signature air-cushioned sole.
The main feature of this sole is its cushioning and its grip, which makes it easy to walk on and less tiring for long periods of time.
These are also water and dirt resistant, so you can wear them wild without worrying about some rough roads. SOLOVAIR Easy on/off gore

SOLOVAIR products are made from natural leather and are handmade. As you can see in the picture above, there is a slight variation in the colour and the wrinkles that occur during the manufacturing process.

In addition, there may be overlaps or gaps in the seams of the sole, but this is due to the handcrafted attachment of the sole.

These gaps in the sole are not a quality problem.
