From Island Slipper comes a new model that covers the instep. A new model is now available. The new model from Island Slippers is an elegant, instep-covered sandal that can be worn as a traveller sandal or a shower sandal. The perfect fit and the way it sinks into the sole of the foot make this sandal completely different from the others.
Historically Handmade
ISLAND SLIPPER has been handcrafted by skilled artisans on the island of Oahu, Hawaii since 1946. Using traditional Hawaiian printed fabrics and carefully selected leather materials from the mainland USA, our items have a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 
Rugged Bullhide Suede
Bullhide suede leather is used for the upper that completely covers the instep. Bullhide is a thick, durable leather that comes from three-year-old bulls. It has a sparse pile and a natural rugged look.
Also, the surface of the leather is used for the part of the instep that actually touches the skin, so it is not rough and is comfortable to wear. The height of the instep is a little low, but as you wear them, the leather will gradually stretch and adapt to the shape of your foot.
Soft to the touch
The sole is made of vegetable tannin suede. When you wear them, they feel smooth and comfortable on your feet. We hope you will enjoy your very own ISLAND SLIPPER as it ages with wear and tear.
Foot-hugging comfort
The natural leather-covered midsole offers a cushioned feel, while the rubber sole provides a comfortable fit. The ISLAND SLIPPER has a natural leather covered midsole that is soft enough to absorb into the foot, making it more comfortable than traditional sandals. The large upper area and the soft sole allow for an enveloping fit.
Outsole designed for easy walking
The outsole is made of rubber for a high grip. The rubber outsole has a high grip to prevent slipping in wet conditions and is safe to wear in the rain. 
Create a grown-up beach look
Natural leather has a relaxed feel and can be worn with both half and full-length trousers. They are also available in a wide range of colours and different materials, making them a great choice.
