Born in 1941 in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture. Nanga is a manufacturer of down products that continues to focus on domestic production. NANGA uses safe, high-quality down and produces it with its own unique sewing technology. It is known as the leading brand of winter down outerwear in Japan.

Sustainable fabric
The fabric is made of recycled cotton “Ferre Yarn”. The fabric is of moderate thickness and has a smooth feel. The cotton base is blended with polyester, which adds strength and suppleness to the fabric. This fabric is firm and durable while maintaining softness.

What is “Ferre Yarn”?
Recycled cotton that is GRS certified and meets international standards for recycling. Recycled materials are color-coded and recycled into yarn using proprietary technology. The process of spinning yarn requires a significant reduction in energy consumption, making it an environmentally friendly material.

Minimalistic design brings out the charm
The hood has a drawcord for adjustment. It is also sewn on both sides for a comfortable fit. Two layers of fabric with a good thickness protect the head from cold winds.

The front has a double-zip design for ease of use. You can wear it in your favorite styling. The zipper pull has a strap for easy opening and closing.

The drawcord and zipper straps are designed in a red, black, and white color scheme with the NANGA logo motif for a subtle accent.

The pockets are casual kangaroo pockets, designed for ease of use. A name tag with the brand logo is placed on the lower left side of the pocket.

Side ribs are placed under the armpits on both sides, a detail that was adopted in the 1930s to prevent shrinkage and now functions as a design feature as well as reducing stress when putting on and taking off the garment.
